The sockets provided on this checkbox are
compatible with lantern type probes found on most modern test leads
The
benefits of using these sockets are:

No exposure to 500-1000V test voltages

free for pressing the test button & recording readings
Two green zero sockets are provided to quickly null meter lead
resistance
Readings are then taken between green and blue sockets for continuity
ranges, or green and red sockets for insulation ranges
Precise meter readings can also be written on the back of the
checkbox making it handy on-site
